Brazzy, please read this. Time is short.

700% is legal. I read the disclosure on the wall at Amscot here in the Tampa area three days ago.

I do not borrow from them, never have. I was there to pay a utility deposit on a rental house we are trying to sell.

I see the "celebration" icons as a perfectly legit way of saying, "I am free". Not "I HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING FREE". That is different.

Most people here have been under attack for months or years from debt collectors who will not accept any answer except a check in the mail.

Most people here are honest and hardworking folks who hit a tough patch and exhausted every method they had to meet their obligations. Many have ignorantly wasted retirement monies and exempt funds in a misguided attempt to "do the right thing".

Some have lost their loved ones, careers, futures, and thrown away all they had to honor their debts.

Your target, if it even exists, is not here. There are thieves and liars out there. You will find very few here, as we tend to run them off as soon as they arrive.

We operate within the law, and rarely even push the line. Mostly, there are sad stories here, each one could be you, or your mother, or your grandmother. It is not pretty, but it is honest.

As for Lady. If you dont like it then dont reply. I stated my personal opinion.
But aren't you not liking something and starting an entire thread on it? Yet Lady shouldn't reply because she doesn't like something? Hypocrite?

This is a BAIT thread, no real point in indulging it; however, the only reason I have left it open is to see if the OP will say anything interesting or insightful

            Good luck!

Maybe we can find out what collection agency it works for.

[QUOTE=Brazzy;410626]Nope nothing about banking at all... LOL. I'm not a debtor. Im not a judge. I'm not a BK attorney. So what am I?

You're unaquainted and insensible. Don't opionate where you have not been. Being in a bk13 I am not ripping off anyone. I am repaying a large percentage of what I owe sans the bs the banks laid on all of us "hard workers". I have tried working with my creditors as everyone else has here and this is the final stand of financial salvation. Yeah some will work the system, but the majority of us are celebrating a less woeful future. We don't come out of this unscathed by any means. Just a whole lot smarter.
Filed July 2009. Discharged 08/08/2014. Awaiting closing. We made it !!!! Woo-hoo!

As I said many times. I am not here no mock people or their situations. All I am saying is that people are helped through tough situations every day by these big bad banks. I help people every day. If I found that the people I helped was posting up celebrating how they screwed me I would be upset as would you. I'm not pretending to be reasonable. I am more than reasonable. Odds are one of you here has dealt with me one on one before and were happy to see the results. Please see the other threads in which I have posted. Very informative information which will help people. I understand that at times life can be tough. Just remember that there are people out there who have it more difficult than you.

First off you have no idea who I am, who I work for, my financial situation, or anything else about me. Lets please get passed the creditor is the bad guy nonsense.
I know a good deal about you. Just from the words you use and your syntax and the words that you spell incorrectly and your lack of command of the apostrophe, I can tell you are from the South. Probably Kentucky, Tennessee or Virgina -- maybe the Carolinas or Alabama. Your daddy probably died and left you some money. Having no skills to earn a living, you opened a title loan or a payday loan establisment. Guys like me are putting in up your ass hard and you come here to try to shame people.

If a friend owed you money you'd ask for it back too.
If my mama owed me money, I'd ask for it back. But I wouldn't charge her triple digit interest or threaten to put her in jail if she couldn't pay it back.
Every successful entrepreneur in the capitalist society utilized credit at one time or another.
                    Bullshit.

There is nothing about using credit that is an issue.
There's nothing about using opiates that is an issue -- when they're indicated, and in the right amounts. You are to the credit business as a heroin pusher is to the pharmaceutical trade. There is no valid comparison.

But that is not even the issue here. I dont care why people file bankruptcy. All I'm saying is that its no reason to celebrate. Thats all.
I've never seen anybody here celebrate filing bankruptcy. I filed my first bankruptcy in 1990 -- 20 years ago. In all that time, I've never seen anyone, not one client, celebrating the fact that they were filing bankruptcy. Not even once.
Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

See my posts in other threads.

FYI I do not work for a collection agency.

Mods or admins if you have questions I'd be happy to answer via PM.

I think I remember this person.

They have popped up here a few times over my 3 plus years as a member and the year or so before that when I read.

Always the same theme and method.

Perhaps one day they will face a debilitating illness or something far beyond their control that will result in them dealing with what we all have.

If not, maybe they will get bored.

Either way, same story, different year.

And for new folks, please ignore the troll. There is no harm done by following the law, which allows for you filing BK. It IS your personal safety net, and is fine. We have all done it, or helped people do it, and you are in good company here.

                            best,

Your PM to me: "How sweet it must be to call the creditors loan sharks while you just take people's money to file a petition and move on to the next client."

I am one of the few fortunate people in this world who love their work. I love seeing their mouths drop open when I tell them that there is no way in hell that you can put them in jail for being unable to pay their debts. I love seeing people like you when their mouths drop open when the judge orders you to pay my fees. Yeah, I get paid for what I do and have no guilt about it.
