So when I am employed, it will only be based on my income instead of his? I am just trying to figure out if I should file now (which I prefer) or later. I will be going to school full time in spring and can work part time. I can wait another 6 months if need be since I have no judgements against me and never will since I am no asset. I guess I am just wanting to start over and save money and not have to worry about creditors going into my account etc and its been driving my roommate mad for the past 6 months. He just wants me to file and be done with it.

I know what folks have said on this board about including the income from your room mate that you receive as support, etc. However, this is NOT the advice I got from my attorney when filing.
I also have a situation where I live with someone I am not married to. I work only part time and have a very small income. The other person pays the bills (even my credit cards historically) and makes the money. My attorney said to just include MY income and MY expenses (which are pretty limited to my truck payment and some food). My attorney said that since all of the money I receive in support is then "spent" for my expenses, it is a wash so to speak and I don't have to include it.
I am in the 60 day club currently. My 341 meeting went smoothly. I can't say that nothing will arise since I am not discharged and closed, but I do know that I got different advice from my attorney than the folks on this board discuss.
I am not claiming which way is "right," but I will say that I believe there is room for interpretation of the regulations/laws as different attorneys advise differently on this point.
