I think both of you are blowing this out of proportion given the time frame
you stated. It's only been a few days!
I sell a lot on eBay and if you sent it to the address that was provided to you at the end of the Amazon auction, or whatever it was, then you really have nothing to worry about and should not engage some looney in an email battle that does no one any good.
I would have said Drop It but you already tried to circumvent UPS from delivering.
So now I think if it comes back to you, just ship it out priority to the address of his choice and be done with it. If it gets to him great, but don't expect at this point that he will be honest about it arriving.
And no, you can't possibly claim him as a creditor with this unresolved. Let him threaten to sue you. Chances are he won't. What could he possibly tell the judge? Damn seller sent it to the address that I specified?
Take the high road and try to make him happy even if he is off his rocker. Some things just aren't worth it.
