Please explain how you are getting these adds? We have had some upgrades to the forum software, and are working out the bugs. So are you getting adds via PMs or how? Thanks!

i see the same thing.

since this "upgrade" no more notification emails about the threads you subscribe to but plenty of ads...and on each thread there is one that says Links. set up just like a post on the thread but instead of a person responding it's an ad.

i understand the site has to make money, that's how they stay up. but they are now everywhere...on the top on the bottom in the body of the threads.

I'm seeing the same thing. It looks just like a post except it's an ad instead of a person.

I think it is coming from googlesense, The ads are all products I use, so I tried blocking my cookies, not sure if is going to help, It is pretty annoying.

i would generally agree with you floridagail, but these are different. this are actual posts and not just pop ups. they are all about the same subject matter as opposed to the other pop up type of ads i have seen before. this is an actual REAL post on the thread.

right this moment i see on a few posts up telling me where to contact for a VA loan....it's right in the body of this thread. not on the top or the bottom.

again, it may be the admin way of bringing in money to the site, which is fair, and understandable.

So far I am seeing an ad for the Consumer Reports magazine and website--I recently went there--appearing between the banner at the top of the screen and the first post of the thread I looking at, but no ads in the thread itself. I used to see them within the thread themselves, as though they were a post. If I should see something different, I'll let you know.

If you notice they suddenly appear in old post too. It is driven from your cookies in your cmputer, googe is doing it. At least that is what my hubby is saying. Every one you pull up will show one now.

nope, they are still here....i didn't think that was it, only because these are actual posts and not just ads.

I tried it too, it did not work. I checked my other forum I visit to see if it does it, it does not. So this forum must of subcribed to something that creates these fictious posts.
