How about having hair fall out in patches??
I had been getting my hair colored ash blonde, about my regular color, since beginning to gray several years ago. Same salon, same master stylist, but a year ago he tried a just released product on me designed for "aging" hair...loved the color, texture, highlights ---but lost quarter sized patches at the crown on the side I usually part and all of the top back. I did a "comb over" thing and parted my hair on the other side for almost this whole year. It has grown out long enough to reassure me it was a temporary thing, but I wear my hair shoulder length and hadn't intended to do the old lady thing and go short! I am letting it go natural, and am getting used to the look. It has grown back in with a mix of dark blonde and silver, so I might like it.
The only good thing --- my girls and I have been getting free cuts all year from the stylist, which I certainly need with the BK!
And I told my brother I will never laugh at his comb over attempts again....August '05 Business failed.
Spring '06 Found this site, thank heavens

I just wanted to tell you about the experince that we've had in our salon, just yesterday~
One of the gals that is a stylist has let the owner of the salon highlight and color her hair~ well, yesterday was the day that the owner TOTALLY screwed up the stylists hair~ I have spent all day today trying to "fix" the "unfixable" .... it has just broken my heart, because I LOVE the owner, and this sweet young stylist to the salon~
There really is not much we can do at this point to fix it~she'll have to cut it completely OFF and start over in order for there to be a solution~ and this is from licensed stylists who have been licensed for many many years with tons of experience, but it just takes one Boo boo....and it's OVER~
I am just sick at my stomach for her, because she is a beautiful girl~ beautiful......but now there is termoil in the salon~ not good~ not good at all~
