If my small business fails and I am a personal guarantor on some equipment loans and need to file for personal chapt. 7 does my wife also need to be listed on bankruptsy or can she be exempt and keep our personal assets?

Not sure about this one, probably depends on the state you live in and how it treats married assets. Suggest you talk to a lawyer ... especially if only you are the personal guarantor.
