    Question about Schedule D

    How do I fill out this form? Im completly confused on the wording. We have only our mortgage that is secured credit. We owe $706931.62 on it, but its only worth maybe $500K Today. For the date the claim was incurred, is that the day we got the loan? Im also not sure on the Nature of the lien. And how do I figure out the amount of the Claim Without Deducting Value of Collateral?

    Actually, I ended up finding all the info I needed on this one. I would delete the post since no one responded, but I cant figure out how.

      I'd leave your post as it is. In addition, you might want to give a brief answer on how you solved it!

      There are probably LOTS of people that will come across the same problem you had, and they'll be eager to find a solution.
