I just really want to say thanks for being here!
So here's our story so far....
8-4-09 Filed pro se Chap 7 (I'm scared to death!)
8-11-09 Notice of Deficient Filing
1. Need a notarized affidavit for "Housewife, income $0"
(I thought the means test covered that??)
2. Date and sign all Schedules and St. of Fin. Aff.
(LOL We signed in June and filed in Aug, grrrr, stupid mistake.)
3. Motion to Avoid Jud. Lien Denied (no copy of Lien
filed with it, going to amend tomorrow, also stupid mistake.)
8-15-09 Going up there to amend those 3 things.
8-25-09 Hearing to proceed with Waiver of Fee App.
(Our expenses are like $1500 more than our income going by that
national standard chart with food and rent, which is why our rent
is always several months behind and we never eat as much as the
national allowance chart allows for....never....I MISS EATING!)
9-3-09 341 Meeting
I also must have misunderstood the clerk, I was sure she said that the (PACER?) online thing was just for attorneys to register at, but if I'm representing myself, guess that counts? They do have two computers there in the office, but if I can do it here, I'd really prefer that. I don't want to look like an idiot by not having saved myself copies of everything like I should have (getting copies one way or another tomorrow). I also don't want it to look bad that I'm asking to Waive the Fee (because we seriously have no extra money), then it looks like I can pay to view things.
I was just so tired of looking at forms and papers, second guessing myself, and wanted to file it and be done so I can move on with my life, before the creditors started doing anything.
Out of that whole stack of papers though, only a few mistakes so far and 2 were stupid mistakes and the other one was something I hadn't actually read about anywhere, so now I know.
Anyway, thanks for having me and I have already learned so much from here. I appreciate that!
Looks like I'm really doing this! lol
