Yes, the overall number of BK filings are down.
However, given the prolonged spike in BK's starting in about 2009 and lasting to 2011, there is much more competition and available information. So, many questions that would have been asked here are already answered in numerous places.
I have noticed it myself on this board. Anecdotally, more and more questions are focused on credit after bankruptcy then bankruptcy itself.Comment
