I have one more stupid questions please about atty

Thanks again for this forum - I would literally be in a rubber room w/out you guys!

Next week is hopefully meeting with atty to decide to go and file something finally!

So here is the question - atty in practice for over 20 years, just bankruptcy. Partners of atty do the same. One is half-retired, also teaches law.

the other is a Trustee but also works at firm. is that good? In other words, besides having lots of cases, does that give this firm more of an "insight" if you will to what is "ok" for his district??

The attorney that I ended up going with, out of 3, mostly just practices bankruptcy. He had also taught law at a local college. He also seemed the most knowlegeable of any of the lawyers that I interviewed. One other was too much of a generalist and the other only had me meet with his paralegal.

I would go with my "gut" feelings about who would be the best. From the "free consults" you have to think about who gave the "best" answers to your questions. Good luck.
