Chase was threatening a lawsuit at the end of August. We gave them our attorney information in early September. They said they would stop all contact for 30 days to give our attorney time to get the paperwork in order. However, mid October, we've still heard nothing from them. Today, there was a knock on my door. There was no car outside, and I don't answer the door if I don't know who it is, so I ignored it. Saw a man walk over to my neighbor's house, so I assumed it was a door-to-door salesman, but then he got into a car at the end of my neighbor's drive, i.e. it was hidden from me, and backed out of the driveway and left. Just thought it was odd that he would park where his car was hidden from me but then knock on my door - he's not anyone that I've ever seen at my neighbor's before. Just wondering if it was someone trying to serve a summons. Is there a way to find out?
