Another MD question - how many copies?

Does anyone know how many copies of BK docs do I need to file with the court - just one or more?
I called the court earlier and asked a few other questions, but my phone minutes ran out before I could ask that last one :-(
Thank you in advance and apologies if I'm asking a stupid question

To my knowledge only one. The lawyer will upload all these items. The lawyer keeps the originals with your actual signatures. The electronic signatures are accepted by PACER, so in essence there are two copies, one kept on file by lawyer, one electronically sent to the Courts. 'Hub

Rereading it looks like you are going pro se. If so, always keep an exact copy for yourself. If in doubt when filing manually, bring the originals and one copy. If they need more, I believe they have their own copy machines. The Trustee can print his own copies over PACER. Basically, one copy. 'Hub

To add to 'Hub's post. When filing manually, it is best to take your paperwork to the courthouse in person. The clerk there will take your paperwork and arrange it in the order that the court's local rules dictate. Also, when you take it in person, you get a receipt with a date and time stamp on it. You are also assigned your case number at this point.

        Good luck to you!

          Thank you all!
Yes, I'm filing myself and getting a little last minute crazy and insecure.
