There is nothing inherently wrong with the Bootcampers, but as someone else pointed out, the bootcamp is not actually focused on becoming a better Bankruptcy Lawyer from the client's perspective. It's about manufacturing claims against creditors....believe me, I am all for standing up for a right, for right's sake...but that is different than getting the "BEST" outcome for the bankruptcy or the outcome the client desires. In any event, you need to determine which lawyer is the right fit for you.
And doing these cases does actually involve the debtor to a great degree, many debtors simply don't have the stamina for it, they want their discharge and to move on.
