Quick Question before I turn in paperwork!

Plannin on taking papers to attorney today, my question is:

Do I need to make copies of everything I am turning into the lawyer, or do they give my paperwork back when this is all done with. I was just wondering cuz my home appraisel is in there, deed, paycheck stubs (which i keep), etc. Or do I need to make copies of them? Thanks for your help!

Okay thanks! I will have to run to Staples or something, I don't have a copy machine available to me...and my house appraisel is on those really long forms, lol!

Do I need copies of all my monthly receipts and monthly bills also, or just the major papers?

I come from the point of view that you should have a copy just in case the originals get lost. It has happened before - but do what you feel is right.
