    341 Recorded mortgage

We have our 341 on Tuesday-- hopefully after a 3 day weekend the trustee is in a good mood! We need to bring "a copy of the front and back page of any recorded mortgage or your title insurance policy for any real property". Can somebody please enlighten me on what that is and where to obtain it?

Also, we need a current copy of a bank statement...how current is current? If I print one out from online today will that be considered current?

    Thanks!!

You have to go to your county recorder's office. If your's is like mine, it similar to a poorly ran circus manned by zombies (slow "Night of the Living Dead"-type zombies, not fast "28 Days Later"-type zombies). Mine is the original mortgage document that was documented by the county and is about 10-12pgs long. My county office charges $1/page so be prepared to pay for it when you go. I ended up paying $26 (26 pages) because I have two mortgages and a quit-claim tied to the property.
