Is it bad to use PACER. When I mentioned PACER to the paralegal at my lawyers office she told me to stay away from it. She said that they can forward me any papers that come from the Trustee.
Any thoughts?

I wonder why? I loved using PACER I found something that no one had informed me about and was able to get my lawyer to fix it. It's public record- I cannot imagine why she doesn't want you to use it.

On to rebuilding!
That is dumb for the paralegal to mention. Sounds like that firm does not like having their clients check up on them.
However, to play devil's advocate, there are several things that get listed on pacer that a lay person would probably not understand, and therefore end up generating more calls to the attorney.
But in the end, there is nothing wrong with you having PACER.
PACER is a sacred sanctum for BK attnys. They don't want us to know about it.
I mentioned PACER to one attny we Consulted and she went ballistic. "How do you know about PACER??!!" I told her I'd found it, registered, and had an account. She was shocked, to put it mildly. She asked, "How did YOU get an acct with PACER??!!" I said it's PUBLIC ACCESS. Anyone can get an acct.
Check PACER if you want. Keep up on your case. But I wouldn't mention anything you learn to your attny or the paralegal. Let them think they have the inside scoop.
We knew we were Discharged before our paralegal called us. We knew the Trustee had abandon our income tax refunds before the paralegal called us. I just let her believe she was the first to be telling me that info.

I think it depends on your district how they feel about PACER.
Our courts generate an email that goes to my husband and I every time something is posted on PACER so that we can check it out. That is standard practice in my district and our lawyer told us about the option when we retained him and had us fill out the paperwork reqesting the email notification.

Our Ch 13 lawyer knows I've been keeping track of our case and the posted documents around our case objections at PACER since right after we filed. He thinks it's great because I've made the effort to understand what I see there and because we can work as a team this way.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Well, I starting using PACER. It is a really nice tool. So, far nothing has been posted from my 341 on Wednesday. How long does it usually take for the Trustee to post information about the meeting? Is that information found in the History/Documents section?

Yes, that info would be found in the history/documents. The trustees initial report is nothing you can read, but you will see the title of the report in your history. The trustees initial report is usually filed within 10 days of the 341.
