That doesn't appear to be correct. I can't really help you with the exact exemption, but it looks like it comes from somewhere else. I would find a website with tall the Texas bankruptcy exemptions to determine that actual section of code to use.
Also, be aware that Texas can use the federal exemptions. You need to make a good decision on which to use based on what you're trying to protect.
I recommend that you seek help from the Pro Bono/Pro Se clinic which should be at your local bankruptcy court.
