Foreclosure Question
Guys
I was on here a couple of months ago, we were thinking of BK and we stopped paying the Mortg and cc bills. We located a lawyer and were about to retain him. I was unemployed and was actively looking to get a job. I landed one before we were about to retain a lawyer, thank god! the job paid more than I ever made before and we were finally on the right track.
I started the job Oct 31st and don't get paid till Nov 31st! this sucks, but I want to call the cc and set up plans to start paying them.
The mortg I got a letter this week saying that the loan has been moved to a attorney to start foreclosure proceedings. I wanted to stall them, tell them I can afford to pay, once i get my paycheck. But they were not budging. Said it was too late. However, we have decided we don't want to keep the house and will let it go to foreclosure. Now how long do we have in this house, should we move out as soon as we can get and apartment, stay till they kick us out? what kind of timeline are we looking at. We are in NJ and dealing with Wells Fargo.
