What now?? Las Vegas Foreclosure

We filed CH. 7 last October; dishcarged in January 2010. We did not reaffirm our home. Our first missed payment was October 2009. My husband got a job offer in California and we moved away from the house in Las Vegas on August 6. Ironically, the NOD was filed on August 9. We received certified mail notification and the NOD was also filed with the county.

So, what now? The house is vacant. Do we contact the company and ask where to send the keys??

My biggest question is: How long until our name is off the title? I know some auction dates are postponed...is that the official way to get our names off of the title, when it sells? Or is our name off of the title after the 90 days??

I was sad to receive the NOD, but relieved as we aren't even living in the same state anymore...and we are so underwater in that house it's ridiculous...owe 227K; worth 80-100K...

Unfortunately your name remains on title until a "sale" happens and an assignment or other deed transfer instrument is recorded. So yes, wait until the sheriff's or trustee auction. No need to contact lender about surrendering keys, they will re-key anyway once they take possession.
