Re-Notice of Hearing

I received notice about a month ago that I have a hearing regarding the plaintiffs motion for summary judgement for May 26th.

Today a Fed Ex arrived while I was at work. It said that the hearing was re-scheduled to today, May 5, 2010 at 1 AM EST.

Is this legal? First of all the letter is wrong, as far as the time, and the Fed Ex did not come with enough notice. The letter was signed by Florida Default Law Group on 5-3-10, it was sent std overnight on 5-4-10 and it arrived hear on the hearing date.

This is wrong! How could I even defend myself, if I wanted to? Options?

Florida Default Law Group is currently being investigated by the AG in Florida for charges of fraud in their foreclosure paperwork and procedures. Google their name and "Florida AG investigating" for the news articles. Let the AG office know what happened, get an attorney to help you fight this. Or try calling the courthouse and speak to the clerk to see if you can file some type of objection. Save that paperwork with dates on them.
