If I forclose, but doesn't happen for 4 months, do I still pay the prop taxes? My taxes are included with the mtg payment. I'm confused and don't want to make any more problems here.

From your previous posts you have filed, surrendering your house and have stopped making payments. Since your mortgage payments included the property taxes, the bank will continue to make the tax payments as scheduled as they do not want tax liens to be put on the house. This is exactly what is happening in our case.
Whoever ends up with the house, most likely your bank, they will be on the hook for the taxes.Filed Chapter 7: 06/29/2009 , 341 Meeting: 08/12 , Discharged: 10/16, Closed: 10/18

Yes, I stopped paying. I filed chp 7 and have meeting oct 5th. I was going through a loan mod before I filed. And now I realized I can't do both at the same time. So, it looks like I'll end up losing it now. So, I'm just planning on saving until forclosure is near. But, I also plan on taking the money out every pay period since I have direct deposit. And just divy it up for other bills. I wasn't sure about the taxes. Good to know. Thanks!!

I've been wondering about this subject too. I stopped paying the mortgage/escrow a year and a half ago. But a couple weeks ago I got a notice from the property tax office that my taxes are past due. I'm now wondering if Chase is -- or is not-- paying the taxes! Just one more thing to put on my list and/or discuss with the lawyer, I guess.
