old foreclosure - what schedule do I use?

My house went into foreclosure in late 2006, and sold in April of 2007 for slightly more than the mortgage value. (I received a 1099-A) I want to list the foreclosure somewhere in my Chapter 7, if for no other reason than to protect myself in case they come back to me in the future for whatever reason.

My question is where do I list it? It's not my property anymore, so I'm not sure which schedule to list it on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Simply list the the mortgage lender in your schedule of unsecured debts...for amount owed, put "unknown".

What he said and make sure you include that creditor in the creditor matrix as well, which may be even more important than listing it in the schedules in terms of preventing them from coming after you in the future: including them in the matrix means that they are legally notified of your bk, so if they have ANY claim they need to come forward now.

To add this creditor to your matrix may be self-evident, but I wanted to throw it in just in case it's not... Good luck!!
Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!
