HELP!!
The NoLo Chapter 7 book shows an Oregon personal property exemption for "construction materials for use in remodeling or renovating a home." However, when I check the exemptions on various online sites, I see no mention of this exemption.
Does anyone know if this exemption actually exists in Oregon? If so, does it include power tools and hand tools required to perform the renovation?
I'm in the middle of a renovation and have a few thousand dollars in hardwood flooring and power tools that I'd like to hold on to.
Thanks for any help.
