I'm being billed for services from 12-05 to 12-17, we filed on 12-5 and the creditor was listed, any thoughts on this?

Who was this creditor? If it is a utility, then the bill is accurate. Remember, a bankruptcy discharges every debt which arose before the date on which the petition was filed. In other words, the day before you filed is the date to use. In this case, the bankruptcy could (or would) discharge "dischargeable" debts through and including 12/04/2012.Originally posted by gemsnroses00 View PostI'm being billed for services from 12-05 to 12-17, we filed on 12-5 and the creditor was listed, any thoughts on this?
