I had been sued in 2010 by Citi, and had a judgement that was noncollectable. My husband with extra perfect credit decided to refinace the house we both own. The bank asked him, about the judgement and if he had an intention of paying. He said no, it was not his debt, and although I had been sued , he was not aware that the judgement had been placed as a lien on the house. I don't know if it was a loop hole or what, but the lien got removed , the judgement voided and the house was happily refinanced. I didn't think this could happen.
