and it was ugly! They are collecting for one of the Chase cards we have. The balance is 12K and they wanted to know if I could pay that today????? I said no, then she said about a settlement 7,500. She said do you have that money I said no, so she said I am marking this down as a refusal to pay and sending you to a senior account rep, and it is sad that I don't want to pay my bills!!!!! So, I now know I shouldn't have spoke to her, but wanted to confirm she had the correct contact info etc.... I won't be speaking to them again!

I last spoke to Chase last week and it is already at collections!!!!!

You didn't say anything wrong. They asked if you can pay, you said no. Simple answer for a simple question. Just ignore their little side comments and move on.
