After a year of dealing with two lawsuits that were being disputed in arbitration I finally made the decision to file bankruptcy. I am filing without an attorney. Have my meeting scheduled for May 27th. There is a piece of property that me & my husband own that could be an issue, but I'm aware of that and willing to lose my half of it if that is what it takes. We live in MI and I am filing without my husband. He filed over a year ago and his case has been discharged. Now I just need to get through the meeting, but already I a lot of the stress I have been under with the lawsuits is gone.
