    Requesting bank statement

Do you think it would be ok for me to call my bank and ask them to send me a current bank statement on my loan? Or should I have the lawyer request it? Since I reaffirmed with them (unhappily), I wouldn't think this would be out of line. I want to make sure their numbers match up very closely with mine because I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of their lawyer fees that I may find after the discharge. I already know of one, so far, but there could be more.

I should have my mortgage!!!I wasnt behind on it and only 6.5 years to go and would have been one less negative on my report....I had no intention to leave.Good for some bad for others..Call them maybe you can pick it up or they may charge an admin fee to send???But wouldnt think it should be a prpblem

Hi TR...they should provide this info to you ... Can you go online and get it? I did not reaffirm and my mortgage info is available to me online (Wells Fargo)

Hey ya MK! They haven't sent me one since I filed. I don't have any account with them other than the mortgage and never signed up online with them. I just go thru the drive thru to make my payment.

I think you should be able to ask them for a statement, but it's common to stop getting statements after you've filed. I had a horrible time getting previous statements from Verizon, but hopefully they haven't changed your account number or anything so it will be easier.

I did ask and did recieve a current statement from the bank. I knew they would stop sending once I filed, and that was fine. I kept track here and know I didn't miss a payment. I was just concerned that they may be adding their attorney fees on the back end. Which they did. It was negligible and life goes on.
