The Flex spending was not listed as both a payroll deduction and an expense. I had to double check that because, you're right, that would definitely be double dipping. Thankfully, it was a typo in my original post. :X
Our medical expenses exceed the maximum amount allowed in flex spending account leaving an additional ~$90/mo to pay out of pocket. DS does not follow DAN but is diagnosed Celiac.
Taxes are consistent with claiming 4 exemptions (DP, self, two minor children), or approximately 25% of the paycheck. Yikes! We were previously claiming too many exemptions and ended up paying in at the end of the year. We received a small Federal refund this year which was exempted on the bankruptcy petition.
As an aside, the 341 went off without a hitch this morning. There were some questions about a couple assets (paperwork related) but there was absolutely no mention of income or expenses. I could have come up with documentation, but it would have sucked.
