Amending my Schedules for actual tax return

    Hi All,

I filed for bankruptcy on 2/2/12. About a month later I finally had enough free time to do my tax return and found my refund was about 1800 dollars more than I estimated on my schedule B. I claimed the entire estimated refund as exempt on my schedule C. Should I amend my schedules with the actual tax return to protect it from the trustee? I already had my 341 meeting and the trustee didn't mention anything about my return.

    Thank You,

    -Justin

No- leave it be. He would ask for the tax return if he wants that info. There's a small chance it could still come up- but same scenario happened for us and trustee didn't ask for tax returns or refund.

Thank you catpatch515. I checked on PACER and found the Trustee's Report of No Distribution was filed so I think that my refund is safe!
