    Little lost debts....

Well I went to see my attorney yesterday. He says it will be an easy 7....no assets, income below cap and exemptions will cover everything. Will be filing next week, get my case number and register on pacer. My only question at this point is.....I know what major bills (mostly CC's) I have, but I also have many small little bills floating around. Like from health insurance co-pays, etc. Unfortunately, I was getting so many of them in the mail from the different bill collectors, I started to just pitch them. Then I got the summons from Crap1, suing me, so I was forced into BK.

So if I can't list all of the little bills, what happens to them. Can they be discharged without a BK notice being sent to them? Or will they survive to continue to pester me even after the BK is finalized?

If your case is a no asset case, assuming the debts were dischargeable, they will be discharged even if the creditors don't receive notice. They aren't prejudiced by the lack of notice because they wouldn't have gotten any payment on the debt even if they had received notice.

To avoid the hassle of dealing with these creditors in the future, it is still better to do your best to remember who the creditors were. You may want to give notice to any health provider you may owe money to. If there aren't too many, call anyone you received care from and ask if you owe them any money. If somebody tells you they sold the debt, ask who they sold it to.

Ty for the info. And yes, it's a no asset case.
