    credit union "agressivness..."

    Hello! Justbroke (and anyone else alas included in my Ch 7 is a cc and an overdraft line of credit with a credit union I've been with (off and on) since 1995. Last charge was last...I don't even remember...maybe Spring 2010 if that??? Like for gas......last payment....May/June...and an accidental payment (long story) about 2 months ago...

    Do you think they'll be trouble??

    Now, take the weekend off!!

    Because, at this point, it is what it is;

    OR

    (dun dun dun)

    We can put Madame Bankruptcia on the job...

    I sure hope you know this was said with good intentions.

        I wouldn't worry about these small things. I find most Credit Union attorneys to just be more "active" in a bankruptcy member's case than other banks. What I mean by that is... they are about the only BANK to show up at a 341 Meeting of the Creditors! It's usually only when there is a car involved, but they will do so when other secured property is involved.

        Worse case, this stuff is dischargeable anyhow, so they'd be wasting their time to bother you. But that doesn't appear to make them not show up... it just seems to motivate them.

        In this particular case, it's unsecured and the credit union would be foolish to do anything.

          Thanks!!! With my luck they'll show up :-) The 341 location is not that far from their HQ, but you're right - it's unsecured, and no use for over one year...

          Oh and they did pull my credit when I stopped paying regularly...it was already pretty awful by then...

              Loving Madame Bk. I can hear her saying in her deeply accented, smoky voice:
              "cross my palm with (exempt) silver... no credit cards"

              Old Man, time for that mug of Fanalian tea, perhaps with just a drop of that smuggled brandy. Then---- Go do something fun!
