    Student Loans after BK

My student loans were originally in our Chapter 13 - they never received any money as we converted to Chapter 7 before confirmation. What happens now? I know that these will not be discharged in the BK, but they are listed, and included in the amount scheduled to be discharged. (this seems odd to me) I actually thought that someone would contact me about them when we converted, but I've not heard a word. Should I contact them or wait until after discharge? Will there still be payment options available after the BK is discharged? I had some unemployment deferment time left, and since I lost my job, I'm hoping that I can use this. Anyone have anything similar?

    Thanks

Well, they can't do anything until after discharge anyway.

If you still have deferment, you should be able to use it. What "specifically" will happen depends on who has your student loans. If they were with a servicer and they are federal loans, often times the loans will be given back to the guarantor agency.
