Trips pre-discharge

Good Morning

I will hit the 60 day mark on 3/26/2011. My son and I want to take a reasonable trip(5 nights) in June. We haven't done anything for years due to financial problems. I planned to pay for it after my discharge in cash that I have been able to save since my credit card payments are gone and the trustee didn't seem interested in my tax refund.

The dilemma is that I am reaffirming my car and I now have a reaffirmation hearing scheduled for 4/29/2011. I will have to make reservations before that date as well as pay for plane tickets.

Am I doing anything wrong by planning the trip after the 60 day mark but before my actual discharge?

Nothing in the code says you can't take a vacation prior to discharge.

I guess I'm just afraid of the trustee or UST seeing my debit card statement(unlikely since I will hit my 60 days 3 weeks before reservations will be placed) with a group of charges totaling $1500 and getting very suspicious. I have had a slightly better year this year because I have been doing some Income tax prep on the side and my tax refund was a big help. But mostly I'm not paying $2600 in credit card bills each month.

Anyway - always something to worry about - even if I have to make it up.
