    PACER history does not show 341 meeting report

    I checked PACER today. Under "History" there is no mention of the 341 meeting that occurred in 10/29/10. All other events were duly noted (petition filing, mailing of notices, motion to sell property, notice of hearing). Under "Status" it shows my case as pending, with the comment of "description not available for type '[I]aw341meeting'[I]" .

    Did the trustee fail to file/enter his report on the 341 meeting? How and why would he be so negligent?

    I filed chap 7 on August 29th. Had 341 meeting on Oct. 29th. No indication (as far as PACER shows, nor have heard such from my lawyer) that there are objections. Trustee has accepted my buy-back offer on my car and I've already sent a check (my car is the only asset in my case.) By all accounts my discharge should have been given by now even if the case stays open. Right???

    So why don't I see my discharge set and scheduled accordingly?

    ....easy now, no specific timeframes to report on the 341. Our trustee included it in his final report.

    So why don't I see my discharge set and scheduled accordingly?

    Discharged aren't really scheduled, the are supposed to be "forthwith" after the 60 day objection passes. Some people get the discharged entered at day 61, but for most of us, 90 is the new 60. Our discharge was 92 days after the 341 and some people wait longer than that.

    The waiting can be maddening, but it sounds like you have all your ducks in a row...should just be a matter of administrative processing..

      thanks, Tom. Your explanation is much appreciated.

      Now there's new development: Trustee filed for Application to Employ Counsel ( his law firm, at that). I understand that he could use some help in the disbursement of proceeds of sale of my asset (my car). But, to my utter shock, in that application one of the reasons he listed for applying to Employ Counsel is so that he can be assisted in the "sale of some vacant land in town of XX, state of XX." WHAT???!! I don't own any land. Never did, and perhaps never will. I called my lawyer the following morning and he didn't seem too concerned and said it must have been a typo, and he'll look into it. I am flabbergasted that he's so cavalier about this "typo".

        Did you read the document in Pacer? Was it your case number and info at the top? Wow - I would be flabbergasted too.

        Best of luck getting to the bottom of it all & I hope your discharge is super quick!!

          @straysfriend - just chill........

          Trustees get around to updating pacer when they get around to it. Typos happen. Bankruptcy is a process, not an event.
