    Need some help!

    Here is my question;

    We went to our 341 meeting a week ago and I pulled my credit report and also pulled my the paperwork we got after our meeting there are some accounts that was not included in the bankruptcy. What can I do? Can I do amendment or is it to late? Also has anyone used lexington law to help remove accounts and clean up there credit report?

    calco, you can amend your schedules at any time before your case is actually closed. If you have an attorney, they will usually charge you to do the paperwork, and there is also a $26 filing fee. If you filed your petition yourself, you just have to pay the filing fee. Check your bankruptcy court's website and look for local rules. There should be information there about what to include on the amendment. For instance, our local bk court wants only the new information on the amended schedule.
    If you are an asset case, I would definitely amend your schedules to include the missing creditors.
    However, if you are a no-asset chapter 7, you may not even have to amend your schedules. General consensus is most bk courts allow that all pre-petition debt is included in the bankruptcy. You can send each of the creditors you forgot to list a copy of your bk notice with the case number etc. on it. That way they know you have filed and should not try to collect from you.
    Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!
