I waited until the 27th day to reply, and they gave me a court date almost 2 months later. I then requested a continuance on my court date advising them I was in the process on filing, and they gave me 3 more weeks. So altogether I was able to stall nearly 3 months.I may be smarter than an attorney, but I'm not one. No legal advice here, people.

One thing I love about BK is it tells all those creditors to shut the F up! I love how they can't call you and harass you anymore. You can't put a price on that good feeling.
I also remember after filing BK, I still had Discover calling me a couple times and I told them, "you have to take this up with my BK attorney". The guy asked me about negotiating a payment plan and I laughed at him and said something to the effect of, "I tried to negotiate with you for several months and you treated me like crap, now you can go f yourself!!!"Comment
