    When it rains, it pours!

Last week was an expensive week for someone with no cash & no credit!! Unexpected car repair bill of almost $800! Same for trip to the doctor, $75 for 2 eye drops & 1 more to get filled. I so regret not preplanning this. Had to borrow the $800 from employer until next paycheck. It is going to be a long road ahead, hope I can get my nerves & stomach to calm down soon. Having my intake tomorrow, attorney paid up. I think I should have saved for emergencies, then paid the attorney! Hindsight...

I know the feeling. I am unemployed and every time something happens to my girlfriend, such as a car repair, medical stuff, etc., I have to pay for it. Plus anything that happens to me as well. I am scared my unemployment benefits will be running out in a couple weeks, and then foreclosure will take place soon. I am scared I may not find a job before my cash runs out and not be able to rent once I lose my house.

The scariest part is not knowing when things will happen and what the time table will be and which order which good or bad thing will occur in.

The stress level is insane on many days. I can't believe all this is happening to me. I worked my butt off and made good money for over 20 years and then the last 10 years just constantly losing jobs and being poor. I just want my life to go back to normal again.

Hang in there and stay positive. There are millions going through exactly what you are going through.

I commend you, helpme2010. Even though you're going through hell yourself, you are still able to offer words of encouragement to someone else. This is what this forum is about. I truly wish all of you all the best. I'd be lying if I claim to be having it as bad as you guys. Luckily, I still have a job, but times are still hard. This country is in a serious state. Imagine each of you times 1 million. A lot of people are suffering in some form. My heart goes out to all of you.

Thanks for the reply drowning. I say keeping positive is critical to survival and staying sane during these insane times.

I feel bad for everyone on this board and can relate to many people. Like you said millions are going through it.

I started experiencing the recession a year before we officially announced the recession, so at that point nobody publicly was understanding what I went through. When we actually declared the recession it was a relief for me because now millions of people were publicly relating to what I had been going through for a long time.

Now I just want this bk to be discharged, to then find a job, and then finally find a place to rent. Hopefullly all of this occurs before I run out of money and run out of time with the house I own before foreclosure sets in.
