Mortgage ride through payment and escrow ?'s

If we ride through on the house how do we make the payments? I assume online pay will disappear...will phone pay still work? can the local bank branch (national company with local banks) take the payment? or does it have to be mailed to some obscure address?

    Also:
If there is an escrow account to pay taxes and insurance will that continue to be paid the same as pre-bankruptcy? Or will they consider the "ride through" to be a no contract payment and then try to keep all the money sent as payment toward their loan?

I don't know about mortgage but for my car loan, I just made a payment by phone last month on the due date with a fee of $5.00. They cut off online pay, they stopped sending monthly statement. Tomorrow I'll send in the payment because I can't afford $5 for every monthly payment like this. I know $5 is not a lot of money but paying a fee to pay is just insane!

I have other bills that charge $5-$15 to pay by phone. I agree that it is insane. It aggravates me to no end that I have to pay a fee to pay my bill when I am already paying late fees and 28% or more interest. It is one of the things that pushed us to this point.

Here is my experience with my mortgage company...Since filing (should get a discharge at the end of August) we still have online access but we cannot make a payment through their website. We can see what we last paid and what are balance is but if we want access to our escrow we have to call. In fact just today I called to find out when our taxes for the summer were paid. I was given all the information I requested but I now have to "speak" with someone to get it. Yes, they still pay your taxes from your escrow. Also, as far as payment I just simply set up online bill pay from my checking account I have with the credit union I am a member of. Also, paying by phone is very expensive...$20.00!!!! I would not worry too much about not having a lot of information to view from the companies website. That to me is a very minor inconvenience compared to not being personally liable for such a huge debt!
