Question Rec'd Letter from Tax Assessor

WE filed on the 5th. WE just received a letter from the attorneys representing the tax assessor collector stating that they filed a motion for appearance and request for notices on our case. I didn't think they needed to be notified since we don't own a home. Should I have notified them? We included the IRS on our creditor matrix for notification purposes only.
What do I have to do now? Amend my filing/creditor matrix? We don't owe them any money. Maybe they pulled our name off their database as homeowners but we sold our home back in 2007.

I think the first thing to know here is why did you receive a letter from them? Once you know that, then you can decide on a course of action. Did you perhaps owe back taxes from 07 related to the property?
    Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10

      right of notice

This usually means nothing other than they can be involved in the case and get sent anything the court sends out. It may be a knee-jerk reaction at the ass. office, they might do this for every bk no matter what was involved.

Do nothing. Take a deep breath and relax.

The court will notice them, not you.
They are not creditors, so no amending involved

We got one of these, from some random lawyer we had never heard of....turns out they were a local law firm hired by an out-of-town creditor.

      Take a deep breath....
