babysitting costs?

Is paying a babysitter a valid expense? I'm trying to be very real-world with this budgeting, and I just realized that I have nothing in there for this.

Now, I'm not talking about a sitter for dinner and a movie, but not formal daycare either....but rather for the 3-5 medical appointments I have a week just for me. I always try to schedule them for when I have a free sitter or my husband is home, but that's just not always possible.

It's not something I can really produce receipts for, though.

I'd list it as "childcare" rather than "babysitter." I doubt it will be questioned since it will be a small amount.

I agree with momofthree. It sounds like it should be a legitimate expense. As far as receipts, I wouldn't be concerned. I did not need to produce any receipts for anything in my schedule J.
