Ok, so we are filed ch7 pro se and it is no assets 341 meeting set for June 29. Now before we filed we had 2007 IRS taxes due we never paid, and talked to the IRS and the lady said that she would take care of it and we would own nothing and possibly get a return in money that was right before we filed. Now we get in the mail the IRS statement saying we owe 5,000 to the IRS after we filed. I did not include in the filing because we were told not to worry about it, so what do I do? should I amend it and if so does it go on the schedule F, and should I resubmit all schedule F and coversheet? We are also submitting account statements and 2008,2009 tax returns directly to the trustee, so should I submit a amended Schedule F to the court, and the trustee? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

your 2007 tax year would never be discharged because you would have had to wait until april 15th, 2011 to file. It's not yet 3 years old.
Best make plans with the IRS either to set up an installment agreement to pay it off before they file liens after your bk closes.
Since it is not dischargeable it doesn't make a whole not of difference whether it's on your schedules or not.

ok I was not sure Thank you! I hope the IRS is all cleared up soon, because We have already knocked it down from 50,000 to 5,000 it is a very long story and my husband's former employer was trying to pass on some of his expenses to us, which caused the red flags in the first place. It has been a huge mess and I want it all behind us!
