Have a couple of questions about Chapter 7

I just recently filed for Chapter 7 in Dec 2009 and my hearing is towards the end of Jan. I have a couple of Questions

    1. When I filed I had a lease on a car. I decided to surrender in the car and my mom bought me a car which we have the proof that she use her funds for the car, so there is no additional liability on my end. Will I need to let the trustee know about this car since the lien is free and clear. It is my only means of transportation and I basically surrender the lease so I will not have a car in order to get to and from work.

    2. I also just realized that I never finish filing my 2007 tax returns. I filed them but they were rejected. I found all of the paperwork as well as the information to fix it. However, is it a good idea to file it and mentioned this to the trustee or should I wait until after discharge and let the trustee know.

    3. Also, I know this sounds silly, but will my BK affect my cell phone, cable, electric etc... I can afford to pay these on time.

Thanks for your help if any

if the car is not in your name, you don't have to mention it. if the car is in your name, you still don't have to mention it because it wasn't in your name on the day you filed.

the 2007 returns are irrelevant (they are not dischargeable anyway, if you owe something on them)

if you have been paying your utilities on time, there should not be a problem. just keep paying on time.
