    Help Please! Amendment to Schedule(s) C , I & J

    I have already attended my 1st 341 meeting. The Trustee found discrepancies on Schedules C & I ( C: Schedule of Property Claimed as Exempt ) (Schedule I: Current Income of Debtors ) On Schedule C I incorrectly used both State and Federal exemption codes. On Schedule I my calculation of my wage was not accurate. Ugh. The Trustee has allowed ME ( I am Pro Se ) time to fix the errors and present the corrected schedules at my next 341. I have located the Amendment Cover Sheet for the State of Michigan. This I am certain is needed when I present the changes. My QUESTION: Since no changes were made to my creditors ( additions or deletions ) Must I file a Proof of Service? The only person who will be presented with the changes is the Trustee. No other party is will be effected by my modifications. I am right in concluding that I do not need to file a Proof Of Service?? Help Please!

    Ask any helpful clerk of your BK court, just to be sure! They may even have time to answer your question on the phone. New filings have dropped by 98% lately... you can also ask your trustee and see if you get the same answer.

    It's possible that the clerk will notify your creditors that a 2nd meeting is scheduled, and file proof of service after that is done.

    10/14/05: Filed Ch 7 BK Petition pro se skeleton
    10/27/05: Filed all schedules, etc.
    11/17/05: 341 meeting (done!)
    01/16/06: Last day to file objections
    01/18/06: Discharged, closed

      Thank you so much! I was too busy panicking to think of that...
      I just called down to the Courthouse and was told to log onto their website and get copies of the amendment cover sheet & new blank schedules C & I.
      She was very helpful and told me to mail them in if I'd like to. No mention of having to file a proof of service. Phew! I am so glad to hear that. Plus , since the schedules C & I were the only ones changed there is no fee...

        I had to file an amendment to my personal property schedules. The amendments were not required to be served upon any other parties.

          Springblossom -- Are you in Eastern or Western district of Michigan? Also, what was "wrong" about your income? The amended income figures will not put you into a chapter 13, will they?

            Duh! I feel so stupid even typing what I did wrong with my income...
            Instead of placing down my GROSS income , I indicated my NET. I live in Romulus , MI - Eastern District. I just want to get this meeting over and done with...UGH. It was so hard standing in front of that Trustee and all of those strangers. I thought I was going to puke...but I held it together. This next meeting hopefully won't be as bad on my nerves since I know exactly what I'm in for...
