    341 Meeting Continued

My 341 should have been tmrw, but I got a letter in the mail today stating that my meeting is continued until Oct 29 and the time still to be determined.

My case is pretty simple. Chapter 7, no assests. Haven't used the cards in over 2 years just couldn't make the payments anymore.

I got the letter after business hours so I can't talk to my laywer until the morning. What does this mean? I'm freaking out in a big way. Is this a problem with the courts or something else?

    Any insight would be helpful.

I would not worry--I *know* that is hard to do--. Call your attorney first thing in the morning.

But consider this scenario: your trustee may have had a family emergency, or has fallen sick. Trustees are are human beings too, and are subject to all the perils of life that WE go through. Sometimes we BK-ers forget that.

So please, don't stress on this. As long as you have the official notification, you are okay.

    Good luck to you~~

I'll be you if you looked on the trustee's calendar on pacer, you would see that maybe all of his cases were continued. It's probably nothing to worry about.

You'll have to sign up for Pacer account (there is a thread about that) and once you log into the cm/ecf for your district, go the "reports" tab. Then to calendar events. Then you'll see a "type of hearing, and you should be okay from there. Post if you need more help.
