I bought a tv, stereo and speakers and defaulted on the store card, but sold it a year ago. Would they discharge it in that case? Or would the lender most likely want the money?

I never heard a peep from HP regarding the computer I bought from them. I know that Bass & Assoc. was looking for any sort of assets, but seeing as I had none, nothing ever came of it. I think because the moment you get your computer or you walk out the door with it, it depreciates, there isn't much they can get from it.sigpic

I was wondering this too. I mean if we are able to fit what we have from Best buy into our exemptions, can they still go after it? For example, my 16 year old daughter is in IT in school and we bought her a cheap $300 laptop from best buy last Christmas. Can they really come take that back from her if I can fit it in our exemptions?
