    I'm lost and it is my own thread. I never said there was a $50 fee for anything... not sure where that came from? I also didn't say I just opened and am now closing. This was our checking acct at a CU for the last 4 years. We opened a new acct at another bank and then went back to CU to ask to close it. They wouldn't close without paying off the outstanding loan.
    Stopped paying CCs 6/09
    Filed 1/10
    341 = 3/10
    6/22/2010 DISCHARGE!!

        Sorry, my mistake...I was answering your question and "eyeowe's" question about a checking account/closing, etc., around the same time I guess I shouldn't do 2 things at once Sorry for the confusion.
        May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
        May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
        May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
        9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!
