Hopefully someone can help me with this question tonight.
I filed for bk Ch 7 on 10/14 in Texas. On Oct 6, my family received $2000 emergency assistance for housing and transportation during/after Hurricane Rita. All of this was pretty much used up on disaster related expenses.
On Schedule J/Income, it repeatedly mentions "regular monthly income". I already have my SSDI listed as "Social Security or other Government Assistance". Obviously, this is a one time payment to cover one time expenses -- prorating it out over 10 months is not accurate or feasible. Even though this is the case, should this be prorated out and if so, does that mean the disaster related expenses need to be prorated out, also?
Thanks in advance!
