I got a letter from a collection agency on behalf of best buy, where I bought some items before i filed. I wrote an email to my attorney asking him how i should respond to the letter and telling him how I came to have this balance. He has not yet replied. I wrote him on Friday afternoon last week. I'm so afraid to call him. Do you think there is any way he might consider dropping me as a client since I bought something after I retained his services? At this point I don't know if I should call him and I don't know how to respond to the trustee if asked about it.
Some of you may have seen my previous posts about the laptop I purchased before filing. My intent was to keep 1 card and pay it off. But the paralegal then told me not to make any payments.
Questions:
Does the trustee have access to credit card statements?
Do you think my attorney is annoyed? (he's the one that didn't tell me about 90 days, not to make payments after filing, and to keep 1 card).
It really was legitimate intentions.
