I am in a chap 7 no asset and about a month away from discharge. Originally I wanted to reaffirm my car and a hearing has been set up for 8/19. Is it possible to not reaffirm and then work out a deal with the loan company after I am discharged? They have been pushing my lawyer to make a decision but to my knowledge have not entered a motion of relief from stay(thinks thats how you say it). I can't get a hold of my lawyer and I think he is on vacation. It's an older car but runs well and I owe $6K on it. It is worth about $4k and after discharge I might be able to come up with the cash to buy it. Is this possible???
